Working logging solutions

I’ve hacked some rough solutions for logging HTTP headers when the trackback URL’s on MT and WP are requested.

I said rough, because these do not distinguish between GET and POST. They log every request, whether they’re from search engine spiders or anything else.

The MT solution doesn’t log the payload, so you’d need to compare with the trackbacks entered.

If anyone’s interested, let me know privately. These are built on top of the latest versions.

Oh, I’ve got one version that works with a FORMMAIL clone I’m using as well. Fairly secure.

    Hi Ann Elisabeth,

I’m with you on the fight against anonymous proxies. My page (http://chantalstainedglass.50megs.com/trollhunt.html) has a big button in the middle where webmasters can upload a .txt file containing my huge, 70,000 lines long formatted IP deny list (all anonymous proxies).
