Reffy affiliate spams me

The cheek!

I got spammed by what appears to be an AFFILIATE for prstorm!

Geez!

It’s a URL that looks like a badly configured blog, or maybe a page on a regular website. The title of the directory is:
interesting

So of course I had to check it out to see if anyone had said something about me..

Only to be greated with the prstorm interface.

Turns out to be a 301 redirect to affiliate ID: 117

But wait, it doesn’t stop there! The domain that got spammed is residing on a server that belongs to one of the reffy guys. M0nkey, I believe! And the domain is whoisprotected, just like the other domains.

It got spammed by:
208.53.138.115
adsl-208-53-138-115.dsl.scrm01.pacbell.net
It’s the same IP number that spammed another URL for them before.

You know what? I don’t really believe it’s an affiliate…

Yep, same here (same IP address and the “interesting” directory). Only once, though.

WOW! I bet you really have a great social life. I mean you actually spend time trying to hunt down a few spammers that threw some refspam on your site?

I had a crazy neighbor like this one time. He was obsessed with catching this *one* squirell that keep feeding out of his bird feeder. Needless to say he ended up sticking the business end of a pistol in his mouth and pulling the trigger.

    To disgusted,
I assume you’re a spammer? They’re the only ones who try to get my goat, so that’s a pretty safe assumption. I’d say there’s more of a social stigma from being a spammer than being a spam hunter.
