Tracing tools

The Tracing tools page on the wiki has grown into a pretty good resource for spam fighters.

Well, spam fighters who use the same kind of tools I do, that is. I include tools not all would bother with. And I don’t use everything on every trace. It all depends.

But take a look, I’m sure you’ll find tools you’ll be surprised over.

And thank you to those who suggested tools. I had many, but there are some more that got added due to tips!

    Hey there!

I heard about you through my work, but since I do this stuff (hunting spammers) for my own pleasure as well as for my paycheck, I figured I’d say hello off the clock.

    Two things to mention:

First, I syndicated your RSS feed through LiveJournal.com. Hope you don’t mind. I tend to get most of my news through there. The URL if anyone wants to keep an eye on it is http://www.livejournal.com/users/spamhuntress/

Second, and more on topic here, one tool I love that wasn’t listed is http://www.dnsstuff.com/
    – Just about any DNS type of search you can think of in one web interface.

Keep up the good work and I hope to stay in touch!
