<description>I've got something like this that I've set up for my Movable Type blogs.
I use MT Blacklist to help me in gathering zombie and proxy IPs. I then use a script to pull the offending IPs from the MT Blacklist logs and put them into a BIND zone file which goes into the DNSBL I've set up for myself.
I've been using this for several months now, and while it doesnt prevent new spam, it does a tremendous job at keeping spam attempts off my SQL box.
So far, in the first 3 days of this month, I've blocked 15000 spam attempts to the blogs I host for my family.
Here's an entry I made about it: http://www.naebunny.net/~derwood/archives/2005/01/wow_its_been_a.html

I currently have a blacklist with over 4000 IPs in it that I've culled from the MT Blaclist logs.</description>
