I only saw it as a way to get quick PageRank which I guess the major reason in the end anyway. I was mostly concerened with antispam sites going to a spammer, but that certainly isn't the only problem. I agree with Michael's suggestions. Rather than deleting your blog, just clear out the contents if you have to quit your blog. You may be through with your blog, but do you really want a spammer owning it?
