I think a lot of phpbb users are unaware of how insecure their forums are. Today's autosubmitters work smarter than ever, and spammers backed up by dedicated servers with 100 Mbps unlimited bandwidth post hundreds of thousands messages worldwide a day. Fighting spam needs to be put on a new level because of automation spamming software. Manual moderation can be very time-consuming and tiresome.

Hi,

after a number of unwanted posts - most of them uploaded with a product (?) similar to the one you mentioned, I am proud to announce that I just completed to test some code that allows every phpBB administrator to ban unwanted users/emails/ip and all their posts with a single click.

Before making this software freely available I am looking for some other phpBB administrator willing to test.

To get in touch please send me a private message through the http://marcelino.org forum =)
