Well it could be related, it couldn't. In the end you can't read his mind, can you? I was irritated by the overemphasis of his comment, like he wanted to create a parody. It's quite common to exaggerate as much as possible when writing parodies, because there are people who don't understand / misunderstand subtile irony and might take your words "as is". Apologies, if I should be wrong, but it reminded me of the wanna-be black hat called S(p)am King in the other thread recently ;-).

It really makes me wonder why someone is starting an anti spam block before she/he's actually familiar with the subject and knows how to use search engines for her/his research. At least, that's the way it works for me: First I try to get as much sources as possible, than my brains start to work and by the time I think I've got it I start writing about it.

But ok, enough offtopic for now, at least from my side...

Joe, have you checked ANTISPOLGS's url? Right, it doesn't resolve to anywhere. The capslock nick - including its typo - and the innovative usage of dots and exclamation marks suggests, the comment wasn't quite meant they way you think it was. In other words: Just a troll :-)

You can try reporting them to blogger support, but since they implemented so many defences against splogs they now seem to just rely on those most of the time which isn't working. You should visit Fighting Splog. He had a lot of success in getting them to shutdown splogs and then suddenly couldn't get results.
