A Tools Category is an EXCELLENT IDEA :-)

Servers are victimized by Viruses, Worms etc etc
Also, the Speed-Optimization of Servers can be a concern for Server Admins....

And, depending on the guildlines within a company - Internet filtering may
be used... .....and of course, Beta testing Products or patches (shades of SP2 and Vista)

Any good tips you would care to share - even mistakes and solutions.

Of course, you are very busy - so, whenever you have any time to share a few tips it would be appreciated ........ and other Server Admins will probably contribute also .

I'd consider adding a Server Admin category, thanks for the suggestion. As for repair software reviews, exactly what do you mean? Do you mean something along the lines of the Tools category?

// And yes, I found some of his tactics. Quite interesting. I might share one with Matt, when I get some free time.

The strategies that are being hinted at - are well known among hi-level SEOs, but the danger in Google or any other Search Engine attempting to "program-out" certain strategies actually lead to many new false-positives...
....not also factoring in the extra resources demanded to continuously Algorithmically filter. :P

What is happening now is, Google is becoming so spam and seo filter oriented that it has declined in overall SERPs relevancy.

The co-Inventors of LINK POPULARITY should have foreseened the real-life consequence of this prioritization. :-( :(

The direction hopefully will NOT be this obsession with ALGO band-aid approaches - but a re-analysis of the entire ALGO-DNA from the ground-up, that would make link popularity less of a in demand commodity.

or else...
The strategies will get more complex and hi-tech, and the Search Engine filtering Algos will in return, get more complex... on and on and on and on ....

BTW:
Would you consider - adding a category for - Server Admin Tech Tips and Repair Software Reviews - of a non-spam nature - just to share any gems or performance tweaking techniques

>(btw, what’s a hot babe like you wasting your time on spam, would like to see more stuff on your personal page)

I've always been drawn to investigation. For someone whose work doesn't normally involve investigation (I work with computers, mainly servers), tracking spammers satisfy that leaning.

And you should hear my boss when he talks about spamhuntress. It's almost embarrassing, he's so proud of me. I can honestly say it's helping my carreer ;-)

I also like preaching and teaching, whether that's for a cause or for my faith.

And yes, I am planning a little more stuff about me on the "about me" page.

Ann, thanks for the visit and comment on my blog. Yes I am a spammer, but unlike most you may be accustom to, I do not damage any of my main sites in any way. And unlike most other spammers my world does not revolve around Google, so it doesn't matter to me what you share with Matt :)

Search engines makes up the smallest portion of my traffic, always has, always will. There are 3 top ses, but millions of web sites, and so many other resources.

I would rather spam directly for other sites, not mine, one's I will use to spam directly to at a later time. Here I am not spamming ses for other peoples sites Ann. No direct links back to me, no trails.

I have over 200 main sites, not counting splogs and disposables. Not one of those use any BH techniques. All albino white Ann. And of the hundreds of splogs only 2 have been banned in the past 4 years.

The spammers you report or find are still learning, those who rely on seo, wh or bh are doomed from the start. I am a marketer. The vast portion of my work is invisible. Any thing you think you found, is squeaky clean.

It's all marketing for me Ann, just business. I enjoy what I do, just as much as you enjoy what you do. The difference is that for me it's how I make my money and survive. I been doing this before Google, and will be doing it long after Google.

Happy Hunting :)

Kindest Regards
Bud
