You’d think he’d learn the first time?
The owner of massinternetservices.com complained on a forum somewhere that he couldn’t get anywhere without pagerank in his competitive market.
Fast forward a few months.
I get a rush of 20 referrer spams, all delivered to the same file and within about 9 seconds.
So I start checking. Turns out he’s been comment spamming for quite a while. His comment spams would look legit to a casual observer, but if you Google the stuff, you’ll see the same identical wording over and over. That’s what I’d call comment spam, whether or not it looks relatively on topic.
Second check, yep, his root domain is banned in Google. I’m not surprised.
So, he got banned in Google, and he’s coming back for more?
You want 19 more domains banned? Geez…
It takes Years of SEO analysis to understand the complex Logistics of Google Algos; to some, it is mystifying.
But what practical purpose does banning that poor guy accomplish?
He is trying to make a living - and probably, desperately does not understand why a perfectly good site can not get spidered.
He may have made some mistakes, but is not compassion what makes us human?
Hopefully, Google will give his site a chance to be seen. It does not really do their users any good to ban a site like that.
Let us wish him success and luck in his business.
BTW:
Will you be sharing any Server Admin tips in the upcoming future?
He hasn’t learned a thing yet as this is he same joker I blogged about yesterday as I ratted him out to both AdSense and GoDaddy for referrer spamming.
I agree the guy should be allowed to make a living but not when it comes at the price of abusing my server.
I actually know the owner of that site. He hired a SEO company that guaranteed placements. He has since rectified the problem and didn’t realize what he was getting into. He got several complaints and closed out the account w/ the SEO company..
I don’t think there is any need to go after this guy. He was new to web marketing and didn’t realize these companies did these things.
Plus as far as adsense is concerned he isn’t doing anything wrong.
He was already screwed by the time we found him. No need to “go after” him in particular, except noting one more guy who didn’t understand what he was doing.
