I find it interesting, that there is so much money in spam. Not only digital spam. When I was young, I worked in a youth club and we had flyers made in a copy shop which we shoved under peoples windshieldwipers. Now that’s spam, too.

The concersionrate is probably about the same, and I don’t know what that is. There are always people dumb enough and enough people to take advantage of that.

I think that what you’re doing is great because you don’t miss the funny little elements. You could be a bit funnier though. :)

Steve Kravchenko, the owner of PRStorm, told me this morning that he has re-listed PRStorm on eBay because of a non-paying bidder. It’s going to be another week before we know the outcome.

A do-it-yourself malware creation kit is being hawked on a Russian Web site for less than $20, according to security researchers tracking the seedier side of the Internet.

Virus hunters at SophosLabs discovered the spyware kit, called WebAttacker, on a Web site run by self-professed spyware and adware developers. The kit is available for sale directly from the site, which even offers tech support to buyers.

The WebAttacker kit includes scripts that simplify the task of infecting computers and spam-sending techniques to lure victims to specially rigged Web sites.
