Unfortunately, the creators of spyware are often ahead of the game since they are basically making up the rules, and the antispyware companies are always playing catch up. And only if I can't get an anti-spyware program to clean it do I try the uninstall. The few times there has been an uninstall and I actually tried it, often it didn't work or actually undid the partial removal I was able to do manually or with an anti-spyware program. I hope they can get some good info about spyware, but I wasn't able to fill out their survey. I don't get spyware on my own computer and don't pay attention to what I remove for other people. Plus they require "personally identifiable information," name, email, and phone number. It would be helpful if you made the survey URL a link. By the way, I really like Webroot Spy Sweeper.
