I deleted my guestbook today

That guestbook was moderated, so no spam actually got through. But even so, it was spammed to death. So much so I had no way of figuring out if any legitimate messages had been posted.

So, it’s gone. And good riddance!

Oh, Ann! We created interesting service for stop blog spam. We can stop spam in guestbooks across all Internet in next few months.

As you known, in the past half year many and many guestbooks and forums was attack by spammers. Spam is a great problem today. We can stop spam in guestbooks across all Internet in next few months. It is really task.

How it work: Spam Blocker Crawler ( http://www.spamcrawler.com/ ) download and analize postings in many thousands guestbooks every 8-12 hours. If one url are presents in hundreds guestbooks then we can review this url and to write to Google and it hoster about guestbook spam. Google banned spammer’s site in few days. Hoster stop spammer’s site in few hours.

You can says: “Why it will be work?”. As you known, doorway site need around ten days for indexing by Google, Yahoo or other search engine. As you see it Crawler will be big problem for spammers: site will be removed before indexing in any search engines. Via few months all spammers will be informed about this problem and stopped spam.

    Здравствулте!
Slava, if I get it right, you want to automate the task of a spamhunter, -ress. Ok, I would even put a little trust into your hosting company firstvds.ru, because they’ve got little patience with link spammers and terminate them on complaints pretty quickly. That’s not happening too often in Russia, is it? :-)

    domains on slavashevtsov.firstvds.ru (82.146.43.45):
    bible-verse.info
    business-computer-software.com
    grayseo.com
    personalinformationorganizer.com
    spamcrawler.com

But your registration data for your domains are a bit dubious. Either it’s protected by DomainsbyProxy or a fake whois info in Singapur is entered. Your support24h.org (link on bottom) looks interesting too. At first glance it seems like a deeply nested helpdesk, but looking closer the text at the end of a branch is missing. You don’t want to implement doorways there, do you? :-)

Don’t get me wrong Slava, perhaps this is a misunderstanding, but there’s little information about the people behind the service. So one might get the idea it’s sort of data gathering for sending spambots. The problem is, that people have little faith in things originating from Russia. Many sites even block wide ranges of Russian ips because of the vandalism originating from there. So too much obfuscation would send a wrong signal to people ;-)

Another question arising: How it is funded? I can’t see any advertisements there. Do you want to make a pay service of it or is it to be financed via donations (like for example Wikipedia)? I think a spam detection automation as an open project where anyone can participate would be interesting. Maybe something to consider?

    Hm,
I’ve just seen that this comment is a couple of months old, dead and gone. So our friend Slava Shevtsov won’t answer us, I’m afraid. :-)
