					<description>Yes, you have the general idea of spam poisoning down.  Sometimes it is done to make maintaining a good blacklist of spam URLs hard.  Other times it is done just for revenge against sites the spammer doesn't like, for example Spamhuntress' URL is sometimes included in spam because they can't stand her.

And what you call moronic webspam is a mystery to all of us.  Either it is probing for future attacks like you said, testing of spamming software, done by total idiots by accident (not knowing how to use their spamming software), or just malicious vandalism.  Likely each reason is the cause of some of the moronic spam.</description>

Do you mean probing with trackback/comment or other webspam, with links to google etc? 

Another webspam I've been getting of late, is what I call moronic webspamming, where all the body, comment, extract and even the domains are gobbledygook. I can see no reason other than probing or 'because I can.'</description>
