Thanks for creating a blog on this topic, very helpful.

I notice a lot of comment spam was eliminated in MT when I notched up the built-in spam tools. Any post with a URL is tagged. That gets 95% of them, though I wish I could alow users to enter URLs in comment. Its a price to pay, but it helped a lot.</description>
