Spammer security 101
Just totally precious. Read what this forum administrator did to a spammer. Said spammer seemed to believe in recycling of passwords…
For the record: I’ve never done anything like that. Not into “ownage”.

Are there not huge legal implications with regards to accessing someone else’s private emails without their permission?

Hmm, so the mod/admin of that forum aknowleged illegal access of anothers email account? Would be funny if he got owned by Tyrone in prison, which is what he deserves. Spammers are lame. Freaking lame, but what that mod did is stupid.

Is it really illegal? An argument could be made that the spammer *gave* his password to the mod.
In any event, we can speculate all day, but until someone actually cites chapter and verse of an actual law that’s been broken, the discussion is kind of moot.

This is really fabolous, those spammers are just too much. Let them taste some of the bad medicine.
Okay, in some way it may be concerned illegal, but still - only one login attempt and with correct details cannot really be addressed as brute forcing. I would do the same if I had the opportunity
